The Economy in Virtual World The Possibity of a Realization of Education in Virtual Word
Cabala, Martin ; Bednár, Tomáš (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the virtual world Second Life and in particular with its economic environment. The work describes and suggests business opportunities in the virtual world. It is concerned with education possibilities and proposes its realization. These suggestions also contain an actual enumeration of individual costs and their height.
Simulation of Entities Collective Behavior in Virtual World
Vymazal, Tomáš ; Žák, Pavel (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
Theme of this work is to evaluate and compare aviable paradigms for entity control in virtual worlds, and to implement one of these paradigms in application. Dynamic finite state machine upgraded using genetic algorithms has been chosen. This paradigm should make agent's behavior better and adapt agent to required state: i.e. make agent harvest resources in virtual world. Output of this work is application for running evolution and application for 3D view of agent's behavior.
Concept for Real-World Person Avatar Usage in Virtual City
Müller, Frederik ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on creation of mobile and web application using geolocation and 3D graphics. Theory about application development, methods of testing and existing solutions are described in the beginning. Next, designed applications which correspond with user needs are introduced and algorithms on which applications run are also described. Finally, last part evaluate accomplished results and propose possible improvements.

Virtual world in education
Šmarda, Radim ; Vaňková, Petra (advisor) ; Novák, Jaroslav (referee)
The thesis deals with the development of computer and algorithmic thinking using virtual worlds, especially in the environment of the well-known computer game Minecraft. The aim of the thesis is to analyze virtual worlds as a way to develop algorithmic thinking in second grade primary school students, to map available solutions and to create a comprehensive set of practical tasks in a selected environment and then to conduct a research investigation verifying the selected solutions in the educational reality. The theoretical part of the thesis, in its introduction, focuses on the definition of terms directly related to the issue. Subsequently, the thesis analyses and maps the available tools suitable for the development of algorithmic thinking in the school environment. The main contribution of this thesis lies in the practically oriented part, which contains a collection of algorithmic problems created and tested in practice. This should serve as a theme for teachers in the subject of computer sciences. The tasks are in the form of methodological materials for block programming in a special version of the computer game Minecraft for schools and educational institutions. On the basis of all the obtained knowledge, the result of the work is the evaluation of the usefulness of virtual worlds as a...
Virtual space as a source of social exclusion of Gypsies - black ghettos, hip hop and rap artists as Gypsy kids role models
BRYCHTOVÁ, Alžběta
This thesis deals with the topic of Romani youth in the hip-hop subculture, inspired by black rappers, a subculture which infiltrates the Czech Romani community especially through social networks and virtual space in general. It brings different views on the current Romani rap scene and it's possible connection with the social exclusion of the Romani community. The target group is Romani youth aged 13 to 26, who frequent Archa low treshold facility for children and youth located in Kutná Hora and Sázava. The aim of this thesis is to map out and describe the blooming subculture of Romani rappers and to seek out the answer to the question, whether Romani rappers acting as role models for Romani youth and their work spreading through social networking sites could have an impact on the social exclusion of Romani people. The research was carried out using qualitative methodology, the key data collection tool used being semi-structured interview.
Tool for programming in a physical environment
Křen, Tomáš ; Hnětynka, Petr (advisor) ; Ježek, Pavel (referee)
The subject of this work is to implement the game conceived as an interactive physical environment in which a user creates a virtual world in hierarchical two-dimensional space by inserting, moving and connecting objects. However, the world, or his parts, also represents the syntax of a program. This is achieved mainly because the game includes different kinds of objects called functions, which occupy the same role, as a function in classic programming languages. The program also includes active agents controlled by an internal program, which is made up of these functions.
Drama education in primary prevention programs
Hejzlarová, Marie ; Marušák, Radek (advisor) ; Svobodová, Radmila (referee)
The thesis deals with the preventive programs that would possibly include some methods used in drama education. Its goal is to survey the possibilities that come out of such interconnection. The main task of the thesis is weather these methods are suitable to be implemented in such type of educational work with children. The theoretical part of the thesis maps both forms of education and their interaction. The practical part is divided into different lessons that discuss certain issues. The issues are: Bullying, Attitude to old age and The virtual world. All the issues are, in the introduction, based on the theoretical part. The following are authorial lessons of drama education aimed at particular issues and evaluation of the main study in certain groups: Is drama education able to form socially valuable stances and values? In conclusion, there are answered all the explorative questions: Are the proposed blocs functional and feasible? Are the drama- educational activities used in lessons for students demanding? Is this form of educational programs gripping for pupils of 4th to 5th class? During the research was used not only exploration based on questionnaires, but also the study of certain groups. The realization took place in a variety of classes (the issue of bullying (2), attitude to old age...

ICT Role in the Communication of ADolescents with Teachers and about Teachers
Flekácsová, Katarína ; Smetáčková, Irena (advisor) ; Viktorová, Ida (referee)
The thesis elaborate theme of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the context of relationship between teens and teachers, discussed in my master thesis "ICT: A Modern Weapon against Teachers in the hands of Students?", defended in 2012. The original text of the master thesis is completed and developed on the basis of ideas and insights during discussing the thesis defense. I focused mainly on the final part, where research findings are presented and discussed. The original text is also enriched by new researches and exploratory studies that were recently published. This essay consists of two parts; a theoretical view and a practical view. The theoretical view consists of four chapters. The first two chapters deal with the specificity of the virtual world and its place within the lives of adolescents and how they communicate. The last two chapters of the theoretical view are focused on the school environment. The third chapter talks about relations of adolescents with teachers and relations among adolescents themselves. The final chapter within the theoretical view covers issues of virtual communication in relation to the school and education. In the practical view, I present quantitative public opinion surveys carried out in the 3rd class of high schools. The research focuses on the neutral,...
